This policy explains how we process your personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we process

  • Identity and contact details (first and last name, email, phone, delivery and billing addresses).
  • Order and payment data (order contents and amount; card details are sent to the payment provider, not to us).
  • Newsletter subscription (email address, proof of consent).
  • Technical data (IP address, device and browser, usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies).
  • Messages you send us.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Fulfilling your order, payment, delivery and customer service – performance of a contract.
  • Accounting and tax obligations – legal obligation.
  • Newsletter and marketing messages – your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Security, operation and improvement of the website – legitimate interest.
  • Non-essential cookies and measurement tools – your consent.

4. Recipients

Your data is shared only as far as necessary with Shopify (Shopify International Limited, Ireland, and its affiliates), which provides the shop infrastructure, with payment providers, carriers and logistics companies, and with our accounting and IT service providers. Your data is not sold.

5. Transfers abroad

Our providers may process data outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA (for example in the United States or Canada). In that case appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) apply.

6. Retention

We keep data for as long as needed for the purpose. Accounting and order records are retained for 10 years as required by law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. To exercise them, write to mieldecorail.bijoux@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority (in Switzerland, the FDPIC; in the EU, the authority of your country of residence).
